has been having issues with their YouTube-hosted videos for close to a year now and it has gotten worse. Their videos won't play in certain countries unless they accept new agreements simply because #YouTube
is launching a new subscription service for ad-free viewing.
Of course, for their subscription service to be attractive, all videos must have advertisements. This is a problem for content creators and organisations if they chose not to show any type of advertisements on their channels and videos. The YouTube specialists claimed it was "a mix of coincidences, bad UIs, wrong error messages, ignorant support desks and our non-standard decision to not monetize a popular Youtube channel".
As someone who also have a few videos in YouTube from way back, I know how chaotic and clueless their support channels are (and we're not even going to go there).
